“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:14 ESV. It requires courage to wait. Especially when needs are rising, and things are quickly heating up. Strangely, at the time of life when the grains of sand are slipping through the hourglass faster for me personally, I find it easier to wait on the LORD. I realize now more than ever that waiting is trusting and that God’s ways are far more trustworthy than my own. I also now have the advantage of having repeatedly experienced God’s provision arriving perfectly timed. But, of course, I could never recognize His perfect calibration until AFTERWARDS. So why should I fret about my chosen timetable when He is perfect? LORD, You are Alpha and Omega! You hold the universe in the palm of Your hand. I’m good with “making my requests known” while trusting You Will and Ways.
