GOD'S HOLY GRIP

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand,” John 10:27-28 (ESV). I am well acquainted with God’s Holy Grip. When I press in, it is gentle but powerful, soft yet firm. In moments when I’m being pulled away or straining against it, I feel His heavenly grasp tighten, His divine clench stiffening. There is no escape from the Good Shepherd’s hand. There are those startling moments of my feet dangling over a precipice, yet still, I am held firmly in the Savior’s clutch with no fear of being plucked from His Hand. No one and no circumstance will snatch me out of God's Great and Mighty Grasp. Father, I thank You for Your Mighty Handhold upon me. With Your loving embrace, You uphold me, guide me, prod me, restrain me and comfort me. I thank You for Your Hand of Protection.
