WITH YOU

^“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is WITH YOU wherever you go,” Joshua 1:9 ESV. Joshua had received a direct command by God, but he still didn’t feel up to the challenges ahead. I must confess that I often feel inadequate for the tasks and unworthy of the roles God places me in. I have many reasons to doubt myself, but I have no reason to doubt that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13! Doubting God’s ability to work through me is foolish and faithless. In Genesis 1, we see the earth “void and without form” until God’s hovering Spirit and Spoken words changed everything, and they still do! LORD, forgive my doubts, bring order and peace to my chaos that I may fulfill Your perfect will.
